Catherine Gregory
Assistant / Working Student
Following a successful junior and college riding career, Catherine is thrilled to be joining the staff at Tullymore Farm. Growing up in a non-horsey family with limited funds, she spent the early part of her junior career developing her own horses and piloting them to several WSHJA and OHJA year-end championships. Through some extraordinarily generous actions from her mother and previous coaches, she was able to travel with John Turner and Jack Hammond to the 2006 HITS Thermal Circuit as a working student, then spend the remainder of her junior years with Jeff and Shelley Campf. Without resources to buy a horse, Catherine had great success on catch rides and sale horses in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings, wrapping up her final junior year with the HITS Thermal 1.30m Junior Jumper Circuit Reserve Championship, winning the championship each week she competed.
Upon returning from school, Catherine obtained a working student position with Swan Training, LLC at Whip N’ Spur. While working there, she also helped ride and take care of some of Rich Fellers’ horses while he was away. Shortly after, she was asked to travel with Rich and Shelley Fellers as a groom at the Spruce Meadow’s Master’s Tournament.
Catherine's natural gift in the saddle, and her deep commitment to the horses, and their well being, has made her a favorite with staff and clients alike
